Biography

Dr. Shumo Gan(Linhan Gan) earned his Ph.D in English Literature from Durham University. He teaches undergraduate courses in literature and academic English. His research focuses on Shakespeare, comparative literature, and East Asian philosophy; his research applies cross-cultrual and interdisciplinary approaches to explore the connections between literatutre, history, and thought. He has published several peer-reviewed articles in leading international journals, and has received research and teaching grants.
