Biography
Research

I study cities, and things that happen and exist within urban contexts. My research is primarily focused on unraveling the engendering of cities' informal, at times illegal, socio-economic spheres, through the gaze of material culture. My work also touches on transnational flows, histories of crime, and processes of urbanization. More broadly, I’ve been trained as a Latin Americanist, who dabbles in Economic History and the Digital Humanities.
