Prof. Jing-Song Huang is currently a presidential chair professor and director of the Mathematics Research Center at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen. He received his Bachelor degree from Peking University and Ph.D. degree from M.I.T.. He worked at Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton and University of Utah before joining the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, where he became a Chair Professor of Mathematics. He has been working on representation theory, noncommutative harmonic analysis and applications. He received the State Natural Science Award Class II and Croucher Senior Research Award. His current research is focused on representation theory of Lie groups, noncommutative harmonic analysis and related quantum mathematics.
