Biography

Ho Joon Kim earned his Ph.D. in Management from UCLA, an MIA in International Finance and Economic Policy from Columbia University, and a BA summa cum laude in Economics, also from Columbia University. Originally from Busan, South Korea, Kim has a fondness for traveling and studying foreign languages. Beyond his native language, he has studied Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin), English, German, Japanese, Latin, and Spanish. His research is primarily centered on financial accounting, focusing on how managers interpret market prices and utilize them to guide corporate decisions.
