Biography

Kaiming Shen received the B.Eng. degree in Information Security and the B.Sc. degree in Mathematics from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China in 2011, and the M.A.Sc. degree and Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto, Canada in 2013 and 2020, respectively. Since 2020, he has been with the School of Science and Engineering at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen) as Assistant Professor. His research interests include the fundamental studies on optimization and information theory as well as their practical use in wireless communications, data science, and machine learning.
