Biography

Ms. Siyuan Tian is a lecturer at the School of Humanities and Social Science of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen. She holds dual master's degrees in Applied Linguistics and Music Education from Columbia University in the City of New York. 


Ms. Tian studied and worked in the United States for 12 years and has a strong interest in second language acquisition as well as English for academic purposes. Over the past decade, she has designed a variety of language learning programs for university students, professors, and seasoned business consultants from Asia, Europe, Africa, Australia, and the Americas, drawing on her diverse experience in curriculum design and teaching. 


Ms. Tian has participated in myriad professional development programs and academic events, such as Harvard University's The Arts and Passion-Driven Learning (APL) project, New York Philharmonic’s Very Young People's Concerts, and Columbia University's Full STEAM Ahead academic festival, to actively explore ways to integrate art into the classroom and ignite students' inner drive for creative learning.
