Biography

I joined the Chinese University of Hong Kong Shenzhen in August 2023. Before that, I worked at the Chinese University of Hong Kong Shatin (2009-2015), the University of Nottingham Ningbo (2015-2017), the University of Iowa (2018-2021), Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (2021-2023), and the University of Calgary (2023). I am currently working on two research topics. The first is public finance in developed economies. The second explores the connections between politics and financial markets.
