I am currently an Assistant Professor in the School of Data Science, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen. I received my Ph.D in Operations Research from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) in 2018. Before joining CUHK-SZ,  I was a postdoc fellow at HKUST.

My research interests include operations management, applied probability and queuing theory.  In particular, I am interested in dynamic matching and mechanism design arising in real world problems like e-commerce, ridesharing, etc. For a vivid description of matchings in real life,  I recommend the following book

I am looking for self-motivated students with solid mathematical background and research interests in operations management including supply chain management, dynamic matching, queuing system, etc. 1-2 PhD positions are available.
