Biography

Dr. Fang Da received his PhD in Economics from Peking University and joined the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen in 2023. Dr. Fang's major research areas are political economy and economic geography. 

Up to now, Dr. Fang has published more than ten articles in SCI/SSCI/CSSCI journals and serves as an anonymous reviewer for SSCI such as Journal of Transport GeographyAsia Pacific Journal of Marketing and LogisticsJournal of Agrarian Change. Dr.Fang is chairing the National Natural Science Foundation of China's youth project ‘Research on the Mechanism of Regional Economic Resilience under the Perspective of Inter-city Linkage’ (Project No. 42401191). His research interests mainly include:

  • · New Political Economy 
  • · Non-mainstream economics and Marxist Political Economy

Currently, Dr. Fang focus on the study on truck flow big data and regional economic development in China.

  •   "Technology measurement and modernization of China's industrial structure under the global production system: an empirical study based on an improved Fredholm-Venkatachalam-Zambelli algorithm"(In Chinese), Manuscript completed.
