Houning Ma is an Assistant Professor in Finance at CUHK-Shenzhen. He conducts research in the area of empirical corporate finance with a special interest in how public policy affects corporations and their stakeholders. His current research topics include R&D, taxation, within-firm inequality, and corporate misconduct. Houning completed his PhD in Finance at the National University of Singapore Business School. Before that, he graduated from Singapore Management University with a Bachelor of Science in Economics.
