Biography

Dr. Rongbo Jin is an Assistant Professor in the School of Humanities and Social Science at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen

He obtained his PhD in American politics in the School of Government and Public Policy at the University of Arizona. His research mainly focuses on political psychology, public opinion, race/ethnicity and politics, and political behavior within American politics contexts, particularly on affective polarization, partisanship, ideology, and authoritarian personality. Most often, he uses experimental methods (in and outside the lab), surveys, text analysis, and other statistical tools.

His work has been published at the State Politics & Policy Quarterly and Politics and Life Sciences
