Dr. Tao Zhen joined The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen in 2021. He is currently an Assistant Professor (Teaching) at the School of Humanities and Social Science, as well as the warden of Minerva College. Dr. Tao holds a bachelor's degree in education with a minor in psychology from Beijing Normal University, an MPhil in education from the University of Macau, and a PhD in education from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. His research interests primarily focus on education policy, higher education, qualitative methodology (ethnography), moral education, shadow education, and related topics.
