Biography

As a principal proponent of China’s education in translation and interpreting studies, Prof. WANG Lidi is a member of the National Steering Committee on Master’s Degree Education in Translation and Interpreting Studies in China. He also serves as a member of the Advisory Board for China Aptitude Tests for Translators and Interpreters (CATTI). Prof. Wang is active in research and has extensive links with the academic communities at home and abroad. He is coeditor-in-chief of Le Monde de la Traduction and a member of Advisory Committee of Compilation and Translation Review, National Academy for Educational Research, Taiwan. Internationally, he is a member of the Executive Committee of the UN Outreach Programme with Universities and also a member of Conference Internationale permanente d’Instituts Universitaires de Traducteurs et Interpretes (CIUTI).
