Biography

Dr. Xu received the B.S. degree in communication engineering from Hangzhou Dianzi University, Hangzhou, China, in 2014, and the Ph.D. degree in communication and information system from the State Key Laboratory of Rail Traffic Control and Safety, Beijing Jiaotong University, Beijing, China, in 2019. He was a visiting researcher with Lancaster University, Lancaster, U.K., from October 2017 to October 2018. From July 2019 to July 2020, he was a Senior Engineer with Huawei Technologies Company Ltd.. From September 2020 to August 2022, he was a Post-Doctoral Researcher with The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, where he is currently a research assistant professor. His current research interests include signal processing algorithm designs for massive MIMO systems and pinching-antenna systems.
