Biography

Huaiping Yuan received his Ph.D. degree in Economics from the University of Amsterdam. Before that, he earned his Master’s degree in Economics from Tinbergen Institute and his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Hong Kong.  His main research interests lie at the intersection of behavioral economics and labor economics, with a focus on personality traits and gender differences. He uses a combination of methodologies, including laboratory experiments, surveys, and administrative data for his research.
