Dr. Zhang Yanjie is currently an Associate Professor in the Physical Education Unit, School of Humanities and Social Science, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen. His research primarily focuses on physical education, physical activity and health promotion, exercise psychophysiology, and quantitative research methods. He has published over 40 English peer-reviewed journal articles (Google h-index of 25).
My research aims to explore the association between physical activity, nutrition and psychological/physiological outcomes (e.g., fitness, physical performance, cognition, and mental health) across the lifespan; to investigate the effects of different forms of physical activities and various nutrition on psychological/physiological health.
