Rahman Kevin Smith is the director of the Self Access Language Learning Centre which functions as CUHK, SZ's writing and tutoring language-related research space. He teaches ENB 2002 (Ethical Public Speaking and Debate) for sophomores majoring in English. Faculty advisor and coach of the university's debate and public speaking teams.

Biography

Rahman Kevin Smith has taught Writing, Debate, and Public Speaking at the university-level for nearly 15 years.

-Founder of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Forensics/English Debate Team.

-Editor of the SALL-Centre public communications account.

-Former course leader for the 2nd-Year English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program at CUHK,SZ.

-Writing course leader at Shenzhen University for approximately 5 years.
-Founder of the Shenzhen University English Debate Society.
-Founder of the Shenzhen University English Writing Society.
-Consultant for the Shenzhen University English Writing Team.
-Taught business English to executives at Beijing University's Guanghua School of Management.
-"Breaking" Debate adjudicator at the collegiate (FLTRP) regional and national level tournaments during years 2010 to 2018.
