Prof. Min Zhang received her Ph.D. degree from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2006. She has 18-year research and development experience in the field of microelectronics. She had worked for Solomon Systech Limited (Hong Kong), developing advanced semiconductor devices with well-known wafer foundries. Since 2012, she worked as faculty at School of Electronic and Computer Engineering of Peking University, also serving as deputy director of Thin Film Transistor and Advanced Display Lab and the founder of Nanoelectronics and Soft Electronics Lab etc. Later, she joined Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute as a director. Currently, Prof. Min Zhang works at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, as a professor.
She has published more than 150 peer-reviewed papers, co-edited 1 book, and wrote 3 book chapters, and has been granted more than 20 patents. She has been invited to serve as a tutorial lecturer or invited speaker at many well-known conferences and serve as a committee member for many famous international conferences and a reviewer for many prestigious journals. She has presided 14 projects as PI, including National Key Research and Development Program Subject-project, National Natural Science Foundation of China projects, Key Projects of Fundamental Research, and Technology Innovation Project of Shenzhen etc. She has also worked for many collaborative national and local key projects.
She is a senior member of IEEE and served as treasurer of IEEE Electron Device and Solid-State Circuits Society Shenzhen Joint Chapter. She won the First Prize of Technical Invention of Ministry of Education (rank top 3), Shenzhen Excellent Teacher, Shenzhen Talent, Peking University Teaching Excellence Award, as well as some academic paper awards.
