Prof. Zhang Shuyin is Assistant Professor (Teaching) at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen. She holds a PhD in Translation Studies and an MA in Linguistics from University College London. She is a certified interpreter accredited by the Chartered Institute of Linguists, UK.
Prof. Zhang's research interests include Digital Translation Studies (AI-powered Literary Translation, Translation and Prompt Engineering), Educational Technology (Computer-Assisted Translator/Interpreter Training, AI-powered Language Education), Cognitive Linguistics (Metaphor and Translation) and Digital Humanities. Her work has been published in SSCI-indexed and ESCI-indexed journals, including Translation and Interpreting Studies and Revista Tradumàtica. She won the Interpreting and Translation Studies Rising Scholar Award at the 9th Asian-Pacific Forum on Translation and Intercultural Studies in 2022.
Prof. Zhang serves on the Editorial Board of Humanities & Social Sciences Communications (SSCI Q1). She is also a reviewer for Taylor and Francis.
